The Italian subsidiary of REP
Our Italian subsidiary REP Italiana, founded in 1971, which sells the REP presses on the Italian territory is situated in Druento, close to Turin. With its staff of technicians, REP Italiana also ensures the technical support, the after-sales service and the supply of spare parts throughout this sector.
Since its creation in 1971, more than thousands of REP rubber injection presses, mainly vertical ones, have been sold in Italy. The subsidiary also provides turnkey solutions.
With this in view, a collaboration agreement was signed with Italian mold maker Tecnistamp early in 2012.
This agreement consists in the provision to Tecnistamp of an injection molding machine on hire.
Tecnistamp is an engineering firm in Corte Franca (Brescia). They design and build molds for seals and other technical items made of rubber, plastic and thermoplastic, mainly for the appliance and automotive industry on the Italian and European markets.
The machine provided is a V69 vertical press with a 400 ton closing force, equipped with an injection unit of 3,850 cc at 2,000 bar.
Synergy to better serve customers
Thanks to this winning alliance:
- Tecnistamp will be able to test in their premises the molds they produce prior to delivery to customers.
- REP Italiana will have the opportunity to provide customers with "turnkey solutions" and presses equipped with already-tested molds.

Plast2012 in Milan: Novelties exhibited by REP
REP Italiana will be in the booth C36 pavilion 11 of the Plast 2012 fair (Milan, May 8-12), together with Tecnistamp.
Several REP presses will be exhibited, among which a 160-ton vertical press, the V49, equipped with a demo mold and with Turbocure®, our patented solution to reduce the cure time by 50%.
